Rahul Dev Chauhan is an editor and principal technical research analyst covering India Energy-Upstream activity at S&P Global Commodity Insights.Rahul is the principal research analyst for the Energy-Upstream Intelligence team and is the lead for Upstream Research in India. His research and analysis focus on oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) activities in India. He manages the GEPS editorial content for the upstream activities, with a particular focus on drilling and field development activities, government policies, bid rounds, company deals and trend analysis in the Indian Energy-Upstream sector. He joined IHS Markit(now part of S&P Global) in 2017 and has more than 10 years of upstream industry experience, including 7 years of field onsite experience.
