Alessandro is a senior petroleum legal analyst within the Petroleum Economics and Policy Solutions (PEPS) team, part of the S&P Global Commodity Insights E&P Terms and Above-Ground Risk team. Based in London, he monitors legal/regulatory and fiscal developments relevant to the petroleum industry in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). In addition, he assists with consulting projects requiring expertise in petroleum legal/regulatory and fiscal expertise.

Alessandro has a background as upstream fiscal analyst on a global scale and petroleum legal/fiscal consultant primarily in relation to the MENA. He holds an LLB and LLM from the University of Florence, Italy; an MPA from Sciences Po, France; an MPP from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (NUS, Singapore); and an MSc in Taxation from the University of Oxford (Harris Manchester College, UK). Alessandro is currently preparing himself to become an English and Wales solicitor under the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
