Emissions Research Analyst, S&P Global Commodity Insights

Solicia Xu is a research analyst at S&P Global Commodity Insights with a focus on North America upstream GHG Emissions, where she helps to optimize and improve the Upstream Enhance Emissions model.

Prior to her current role, Solicia worked as a technical analyst for an oil and gas consulting firm, evaluating petroleum reserves and analyzing economics for domestic and international assets. In addition to having an in-depth understanding of oil and gas reserves and recoverable resources, Solicia is able to utilize her expertise in data analysis and reservoir engineering in order to assist clients in making business decisions. Her experience in the oil and gas industry, along with her technical skills, enable her to develop insightful analyses that drive results and support Upstream Solutions.

She holds a Master of Science degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College.
