Claudia Wehbe is an economist specializing in Latin America at S&P Global Market Intelligence.She prepares economic forecasts, provides economic analysis, assesses global and sovereign risks, and writes country reports for Chile, Peru, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Cuba, Haiti, Curaçao, St Maarten, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, and St Vincent and the Grenadines. She was the first adopter of the company's Global Link Model (GLM). She also contributes to special projects on the largest countries in the Latin American region. Claudia served as an associate economist at The Washington Economics Group. She also worked on several major financial and economics consultancies in the United States and Argentina, her home country. She developed an academic career as an assistant professor at Universidad Nacional de Rio Cuarto (UNRC) in Córdoba, Argentina, and as an adjunct professor at Florida International University (FIU) in the United States.
Claudia earned a Fulbright scholarship to get her master's degree in economics at FIU, where she also later earned her doctoral degree in economics. She is based in the Philadelphia office.
