Rebecca is the director of technical research for Europe and leads a team of 24 editors and researchers covering upstream oil and gas activity throughout the Continental and Northwest Europe regions. Rebecca's area of expertise and current focus is Norway. Rebecca has almost 30 years of experience in the Northwest Europe area. Before joining S&P Global Commodity Insights in 2005, Rebecca worked as a senior petroleum analyst for the Arthur Andersen Petroleum Services Group (now Wood Mackenzie) in London, focusing largely on the North Sea region. In 1991 she started her career as an exploration geologist for Fina Exploration covering the North Sea, which included periods of work offshore as a wellsite geologist. Rebecca is a member of the Geological Society, the Norwegian Petroleum Society and the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain.

Rebecca holds two degrees in geoscience - a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) from the University of Gloucestershire, UK and a Master of Science from Kingston University, London, UK. Based in our Tetbury office in the UK, Rebecca can be contacted via email.
