Myakishev Sergey
Senior Editor, Energy, S&P Global Commodity Insights
Sergey Myakishev serves as an editor for the International Energy Letter (IEL) S&P Global Commodity Insights publication that monitors the oil & gas industry, and he is a regular contributor to the Daily Exploration Alert (DEA).His varied background gives him experience in midstream and upstream data analytics and long-form writing coverage. Sergey took on his current position as editor for the weekly IEL in 2014 and was promoted to Senior Editor in 2017. His responsibilities also include writing for the widely-read DEA publication one month out of the year. He has worked at S&P Global (now part of S&P Global) since 2002, initially for the Midstream team as an analyst and later promoted to European coordinator.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Translation of French, English, Italian from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and an MBA from The Open University.
