Peter Renner is a Vice President for Head of Account Management Financials DACH & CEE at S&P Global Market Intelligence.Peter and his Account Management team are currently responsible for the senior relationships and the overall S&P MI revenues with our major customers in the region "Northern Europe". Beside his Account Management role, Peter also acts on the board of Directors for IHS Markit Global GmbH and Markit Indices GmbH.
Peter started his career in various project finance teams at two German banks for 4 years. Then he joined a pan-European project at UBS Warburg AG in 1998 to develop and create a new and innovative internet bank. After several management positions at Bloomberg LP from 2001 till 2010, Peter has been responsible for various sales and relationship teams at IHS Markit and S&P Global Market Intelligence for the last 12 years.
Due to his early move to the New Economy and FinTech world back in 1998, he has been a very close observer and partner for all new topics and technology trends in the financial sector ever since.
