Chief Technology Officer
Raj Varadarajan is the Chief Technology Officer at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). In his current leadership role, Raj is responsible for managing the global technology division that supports business growth, risk mitigation, and compliance adherence for S&P DJI.
Prior to his current role, Raj served as Vice President and was responsible for S&P’s official Index Management and calculation platform. Under his leadership, S&P Dow Jones Indices’ IT has completed the development of the next generation of Index Management Platforms by integrating various mission critical systems. During his 13+ years at S&P, Raj has played a crucial role in IT system design & development, project management, process monitoring and improvements, budgeting, data migration, information security, and quality assurance.
Prior to joining S&P DJI, Raj worked at Trigyn Technologies and provided technology solutions for a broad client base. Raj holds a bachelor’s in Commerce from the University of Madras.
