Edwin specializes in forecasting the automotive materials market through a cross functional analysis of the entire vehicle lifecycle. His expertise includes material usage and manufacturing techniques in body structures, chassis, and propulsion systems. He closely follows trends in 3D Printing, alternative fuels and performance engineering.

Prior to joining S&P Global, Edwin worked as a Mass Integration Engineer at a global leading American automotive OEM on one of the highest volume premium sportcars.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and is based in Southfield, Michigan. His continuing afterhours automotive education focuses on fabrication.
