Prior to joining S&P Global he had 25 years of refining industry experience including operations, project design and development, and refinery and corporate economics/planning with Conoco and Valero.
Gil has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden Colorado, as well as a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
