Nataraj supports clients based in the Middle East and India as a consultant on cost and technology benchmarking, business strategies, market entry, due diligence, diversification and expansion. He previously worked for the manufacturing competitiveness practice at Kline & Company for six years. His key responsibilities included working on manufacturing economics and technology benchmarking studies. Prior to this, he worked as technical support engineer for Pall Corporation in India.

His work involved discussing with the prospective refinery customers to understand their needs on filtration and separation systems, and working with Pall's sales team to provide the best possible solution to the potential customers. He started his career in 2001 and worked as a process engineer for Garware Polyester Ltd., India. Nataraj was involved in production, scheduling and inventory control for the BoPET plant. He also worked in reengineering division to reduce total energy consumption of the petrochemical plant producing Dimethyl terephthalate.

Nataraj graduated from Marathwada University in India with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Otto-von-Guericke University, Germany.​
