Adeel Jawed is a director and petroleum economist for Vantage and Portfolio Viewer, focuses on valuations and portfolio consolidations for global oil and gas assets at S&P Global Commodity Insights

Adeel joined S&P Global in 2013. He has been a key member in the development of Vantage and Portfolio Viewer. He is responsible for valuation of upstream global oil and gas assets and portfolio consolidations, which allows clients to have a detailed view of projects as well as company economics. With over 13 years of experience in the industry, Adeel has a comprehensive understanding of global fiscal regimes, valuation model builds and analysis of M&A transactions. He also specializes in portfolio consolidation and optimization as well and energy risk assessment. Prior to joining S&P Global, Adeel was an Energy Investment Banker with Morgan Stanley and Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management Associate with Mubadala Investment Company.

Adeel is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a certified Energy Risk Professional (ERP) and holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and business administration from University of Waterloo, Canada.
